Direct Table Foods has successfully grown to become one of the largest bacon and gammon processors in the UK with a rich heritage and strong vision.  We are recruiting for Production Operatives  - both full and part time opportunities are available

Due to the operations involved APPLICANTS MUST BE OVER 18

Main Description

Following shifts available:

Monday to Friday 10.00 – 14.00

Monday and Tuesday 06.00 – 18.00

Wednesday to Friday 06.00-18.00 2 on, 2 off, 3 on 06.00-18.00

• Processing, slicing, packing and labelling products according to the customer specification

• Grade and pack product according to customer specification

• Visually check finished products are labelled, coded and packed correctly

• Highlight any issues concerning product quality to the Line Leader

• Packing and palletisation of finished product

• Keep your working areas free from rubbish and floor waste at all times

• Report any damage to equipment

• Report any Health and Safety hazards within the area

• Fully co-operate with site management and the workforce

• To have a flexible approach to work in order to meet changing business requirements

• Carry out all duties as deemed necessary by supervisory or managerial staff to ensure the smooth and efficient running of the factory

• Compliance to Health and Safety rules at all times

• Compliance to all company policies, practices and standard operating procedures
