Glazing Vision is delighted to welcome Riley to the team as our new Apprentice Product Support Engineer, where he will be supporting our New Product Development (NPD) team.
Riley previously completed work experience with Glazing Vision on two separate occasions. During his placements, he impressed the team with his strong work ethic, enthusiasm, and quality of work, making him a natural choice for an apprenticeship after completing his studies at University Technical College Norfolk (UTCN).
Glazing Vision has a long-standing partnership with UTCN, regularly welcoming students for work experience placements and hosting factory tours that provide an insight into the design and manufacture of our rooflights. As part of these visits, students take part in an interactive design challenge, creating their own Sukkah rooflights (rooflights specifically designed for use during the Jewish festival of Sukkot) where no powered operation is permitted. Each year, Glazing Vision's directors and design team judge the entries and select a winning team, giving students valuable experience of the product development process.
Our partnership with UTCN continues to play an important role in inspiring the next generation of engineers and product designers, and we look forward to welcoming many more talented students to Glazing Vision in the years ahead.
