The British Racing School provides a wide variety of practical training courses for those working or wishing to work in the horseracing industry. It has a large site that needs to be maintained to the highest standards.
This position will work to the Head Groundsman and be line managed by the School’s Facilities Manager.
Duties will vary from season to season but include:
- The mowing of the sites grassed areas
- Pruning of trees and shrubs
- Repairing fencing
- Other minor grounds maintenance
- Assisting the School’s gardener in the planting and maintenance of flowers, borders and hedges
This position will work alongside the School’s Head Groundsman who will provide advice, guidance and training.
