HOUSEKEEPING 

HOUSEKEEPER / CLEANER - ACCOMMODATION | £9.66 per hour

Hours of Work: Part-Time

Salary/Hourly Rate: £9.66 per hour

Contract Type: Flexible hours over a 4 - week period

This role involves carrying out cleaning duties in 3 / 4 units of accommodation, including stripping and making beds, cleaning bathrooms and kitchens, dusting, vacuuming, and sweeping patios.

You don’t need any experience in cleaning as full training will be provided and you will be surrounded by a supportive team.

HOUSEKEEPING TEAM LEADER / SUPERVISOR - PUBLIC AREAS | £10.93 per hour

We are looking for an experienced Supervisor to join our Housekeeping team.

In this role, you will assist with the smooth and efficient running of the Housekeeping cleaning operation, by providing sufficient training and development to your team. You will ensure the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene are achieved to our public areas and office space and monitor cleaning standards.

Essential requirements:

Supervisory experience
A motivational approach to colleagues and work

Previous experience within the cleaning industry

MAINTENANCE 

MAINTENANCE OPERATIVE | £9.66 per hour

We are looking to recruit a Maintenance Operative to join our busy Technical Services Team.

Responsibilities will include: 

Attending call outs to guest accommodation as well as the on-site guest and staff facilities
Carrying out and completing tasks and resolving maintenance issues
Ensuring that any work not completed is communicated via a shift book and/or job sheet
Consulting with the Technical Services Management Team on work issues which may cause future problems
Carrying out general maintenance and planned preventative maintenance tasks as required
Rectifying any health and safety issues 
Excellent communication skills are required, along with practical working knowledge and experience in general maintenance. 

Essential requirements: 

Practical working knowledge and experience in general maintenance
Attention to detail
Full UK Driving Licence 

Desirable requirements: 

ISRM qualification (National Spa Pool Plant Operators certificate)

PAINTER / DECORATOR | £12.32 per hour

We have both fixed term and permanent contracts available. 

The fixed term contract will run until December 2023. Please state on your application which contract you are interested in. 

In this role, you will undertake planned decoration to accommodation lodges and central building facilities, with the flexibility to fulfil the reactive decorating work orders on a daily basis. This role will be fully integrated within the maintenance team ensuring guest standards are constantly improved.

Responsibilities will include:

Undertaking planned painting, working to an agreed programme of works within accommodation units on changeover days
Ensuring works are sequenced to allow surfaces to be suitably dry for arriving guests to use the accommodation
Working within and as part of the Technical Services Maintenance team, working closely with the Accommodation Services teams
Working within central facilities out of trading hours, with flexibility to work early mornings or night shifts, depending on the requirements of the trading units
Completing reactive work orders in the allotted time scale for each set of works

Essential requirements:

Level 3 Diploma in Painting & Decorating (6707-33) or equivalent working experience
Qualified and experienced in erecting and dismantling access equipment and working platforms
Proven ability to complete works to a high standard
Ability to work well under pressure and as part of a team
Ability to work on own initiative and with minimal supervision
Ability to communicate well at all levels
Current full UK Driving Licence
You will also require experience in the following skills: -

Applying hangings to walls and ceilings
Producing specialist architectural finishes for decorative work
Preparing surfaces for decoration
Applying paint systems by brush and roller
Applying and creating colour

Qualified and experienced in the use of Mobile Elevating Work Platforms (MEWP)

HOT TUB ENGINEER | £9.66 per hour - £10.04 once qualified

We are looking to recruit a Maintenance Operative to look after the hot tubs on our village. The role involves responsibility for the efficient operation of the hot tubs located at our exclusive lodges, including water quality testing, monitoring chemical levels, replacing the water twice a week and cleaning and general / preventative planned maintenance repairs to the hot tubs as required.

Essential requirements:

Practical working knowledge and experience in general maintenance
Attention to detail
Full UK Driving Licence
Good level of written and spoken English
Good basic DIY skills and willingness to learn new skills

Desirable requirements:

SPA Pool Plant Course
Previous experience of working with Hot Tubs would be advantageous

RETAIL TEAM LEADER | £10.88 per hour

We are looking for a motivated and outgoing, service-orientated individual to join the retail team as Retail Team Leader.

Your role will be to assist with managing a team of colleagues in order to deliver budgeted financial targets, service targets and operational standards, whilst ensuring our guests’ experience is memorable and unique.

You should display a positive image in both appearance & gesture, be able to listen to our guests & take ownership of queries or issues. In addition you will need to take duty management responsibility of the Center Parcs owned retail outlets on a defined shift basis.

Essential requirements:

Previous experience in a Retail or similar guest facing position
To be able to demonstrate the ability to communicate effectively at all levels, and coach others to deliver objectives
GCSE (or equivalent) Maths and English at grade C or above

We are looking for a Retail Bakery Assistant with a passion for delivering excellent customer service to join our team. Based in the Parcmarket, our village supermarket,  you will welcome guests in a positive, friendly manner and ensure that they are served quickly and efficiently. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills and be comfortable working independently or as part of a team. Other responsibilities will include baking morning goods and hot foods and ensuring all work areas are kept clean and tidy.

Previous experience of working within a retail environment would be beneficial, however full training will be provided. This is a busy department, so the ability to remain calm and perform well under pressure will be required.
