St Edmundsbury Borough Council is the local government within Bury St Edmunds. They have an opportunity for an apprentice to join the team. You will be expected to carry out tasks required on a day to day basis. The work you will do will be designed to ensure you meet the evidence and standards required for your qualification.
We have a great success rate of our apprentices moving into permanent jobs with lots of career prospects and an increased salary starting at around £15000 per year or more. In the last 18 months, approximately 80% of apprentices have stayed with us starting new careers, moving into roles with clear career pathways.
Responsibilities and activities (specific tasks):
•Assist in the maintenance of databases – in particular the Housing Register and Temporary Accommodation database - Ensure records are accurate and up to date.
•Assist the Accommodation Officer placing customers into accommodation.
•Produce statistical reports.
•Organise meetings and take minutes.
