Infrastructure Service Desk Analyst Apprentice

The Service Desk provides 1st line and 2nd line technical support via the telephone, using remote desktop tools or on occasion via attendance to customer sites and act as the single point of contact for all customers requiring support.

Monday to Friday 09:00 - 17:30 1 hour lunch break Saturday 09:00 - 13:00 Hours to be confirmed. Total hours per week: 40.00

15 months Apprenticeship


Key Duties, Tasks and Responsibilities:

  • Take ownership of customer support queries and work through to resolution
  • Answer service desk phones and respond to support tickets from PSA system in a timely manner and at all times within SLAs
  • Proactively monitor customer infrastructure using RMM tools
  • Assist other team members in the execution of their duties and assist the workshop with repairs
  • Ensure adherence to ITIL (Information Technology Infrastructure Library) ITSM principles
  • Ensure all incidents and service requests meet assigned SLAs
  • Maintain and promote a good customer service delivery culture at all times
  • Network and Infrastructure Maintenance
  • Monitor network performance and troubleshoot problem area’s as needed
