The Introduction to Engineering Construction (ITEC) Programme is a 10-month course that gives young people basic engineering skills, a qualification and health and safety training. Aimed at school leavers the programme offers an excellent route into an apprenticeship, employment or further education. In previous years, we have supported a number of NEETs through the ITEC programme. The programme is helping to bring new talent into the industry and recent graduates have been recruited by a number of major engineering companies.
