Essential to the smooth running of this branch, you will be responsible for the receipt, checking, movement and storage of incoming goods, as well as the picking, packing, and labelling of products prior to despatch. You will also assist in other areas as required, including helping to serve customers at the counter, providing you with a solid grounding in branch operations.
In this role, you will gain exposure to many different areas of the business including:
Warehouse duties – picking, packing, loading & using the FLT.
Trade counter – serving customers, answering the phone, dealing with cash sales.
Deliveries – assisting our drivers to ensure all deliveries are out on time, materials are left in a safe place and all paperwork is filled out correctly.
Working in a team, you will provide a first-class service to customers over the phone and in-branch, developing strong relationships with both customers and suppliers.
