Hours: Full Time
The successful candidate will be given the opportunity to develop electronic engineering, RADAR, Underwater acoustic and multi-band communications knowledge and skills with a view to becoming an established Positioning Engineer at the end of the apprenticeship programme.
Your main responsibilities will include providing support to the positioning team with the installation, repair and maintenance of bathymetric measurement systems in addition to GPS and underwater acoustic related positioning, HF, VHF and VSAT communication systems, RADAR and other Marine related electronic systems.
The ideal candidate will be interested in electronics engineering, possess a minimum of GCSE grades A – C in Science and Mathematics and be IT literate, in particular with the use of Microsoft Word and Excel.
