Imagine contributing to the design, construction and maintenance of everything around us, and on some of the worlds most high profile projects? Using programmes such as computer aided design and building information management, you’ll learn engineering principles and technics to help design and deliver infrastructure and buildings.
- Design or redesign electro-mechanical products or systems to fulfil customer and technical requirements. The design must consider the interface between the mechanical and electrical elements
- Create and utilise technical analyses models or simulations to predict the performance of products or systems
- Identify and derive technical requirements for electro-mechanical projects or systems
analyse test data and in-service data to review the suitability and performance of products or systems, including big data analytics

- Functional Skills if required
- You will attend university one day a week
- You will have the full support of your wider team, as well as a line manager, mentor and buddy, and a dedicated learning & development team
Entry requirements
GCSE or equivalent Maths (Grade 4 / C or equivalent) Essential
A Level or equivalent Maths (Grade A*-C) Essential
A Level or equivalent Science (Grade A*-C) Essential

Future Prospects
BEng (Hons) Electro-mechanical Engineering and Electro-mechanical Engineer Degree Apprenticeship Certificate
This apprenticeship will include the knowledge, skills and behaviours required to achieve Incorporated Engineer status with the Institution of Civil Engineers and lead to the designatory letters IEng MICE. The professional review process for IEng MICE is included in the final assessment process
