The Norwich Jobs Fair
Wednesday 12th August 2026 at The Forum Norwich, 10am to 1pm.
Why Visit the Job Fair to look for work?
Networking Opportunities - Job fairs provide a platform for networking with recruiters, hiring managers, and representatives from various companies. Building connections can open doors to job opportunities now or in the future.
Direct Interaction - Job fairs allow you to engage directly with employers. You can ask questions, learn about company cultures, and get a better understanding of job roles and requirements.
Explore Job/Career Options - Job fairs feature a diverse range of companies from different industries. This gives you the chance to explore various career paths and industries you might not have considered otherwise.
Face-to-Face Impressions - Meeting employers face-to-face allows you to make a memorable impression beyond what a CV or online application can convey. Your personality, communication skills, and enthusiasm can shine in person.
Access to Hidden Opportunities - Not all job openings are advertised online. Companies often attend job fairs to fill positions quickly or to find candidates with specific skills. Attending a job fair gives you access to these hidden opportunities.
Learn about the Job Market - Job fairs provide insights into the current job market trends, including in-demand skills, salary ranges, and hiring expectations. This information can help you tailor your job search strategy.
Professional Development - Get tips on how to improve your CV, Interview Skills, and build your confidence talking to employers by attending a Job fair.

Top tips:
Make sure you chat with every exhibitor at the Jobs Fair! You never know what opportunities they might have. Don’t just glance at their banners and assume they’re not for you — take a moment to say hello and find out more!
-
Dress to impress - give employers a great and lasting first impression
-
Don’t judge a book by it's cover - Many employers, past and present at our Job Fairs, have varying roles. Make the most of your opportunity to speak with them and find out all they have to offer.
-
Speak to all the exhibitors - showcase yourself to all the employers at the event. It’s the best way to utilise your time and maximise your chances of success
-
Bring a CV if you can - but it’s not essential. If you've had a positive chat with an employer, it is a great way to finish off the conversation. If you don't have an up-to-date CV, most employers will have application forms or alternative ways of applying for their vacancies.
-
Check the “Job Boards” - There will be 4-6 Job Boards dotted around every fair that display local and exhibitor vacancies. Exhibitor vacancies will be displayed with details on how to apply.
-
Bring your mobile phone - You can take photos of jobs on the Job Boards, send your CV to employers electronically and take down an employers contact details. You can also visit their website and apply online, as well as at the event.
-
Try something new - the Jobs Fair events are not just simply “Job” Fairs. There are training courses, apprenticeships, voluntary roles, self-employment opportunities and career advice too. If you are looking to learn new skills, gain work experience, or set up your own business, the Jobs Fair is suitable for you.
-
Use LinkedIn - Follow up with employers and connect with them on LinkedIn. It is a great way to pick up your conversation at the event where it left off.
