Kingsley Healthcare is a privately owned healthcare provider founded in 1999. Our magnificent head office was officially opened in August 2016. Due to continued growth, we are seeking to recruit an experienced Payroll Administrator to join the payroll team. 

This is a full time position of 40 hours per week, working Monday to Friday 0900 - 1700 hours. 

Salary £20,000 - £22,000 per annum 

Applicants MUST have a minimum of two years recent payroll experience in order to be considered for this position.

As part of the payroll team you will:

- Arrange the payment of employees salaries and wages using the computerised time and attendance system (Rota Horizon) and payroll system (Sage 50) currently 1,500+ staff 29 Homes/payrolls 

- Administer the Statutory Sick Pay (SSP), Statutory Maternity Pay (SMP) and Statutory Paternity Pay (SPP) schemes and any other statutory payment schemes 

- Provide advice to employees and managers in relation to pay, taxation and national insurance 

- Deal with payroll queries 

- Complete various forms required by HM Revenue and Customs 

- Process and submit statutory monthly returns via RTI  

- Administer pensions, childcare voucher scheme & Perkbox 

- Responsible for all reporting from payroll in line with HR and business requirements 

- Maintain and update static payroll data as per business requirements 

- Support the HR team with all additional HR administration requirements 

- Develop and improve upon the current payroll system and process as required

Criteria / Person Specification
Skills and Attributes Required 

  • Two years payroll experience essential
  • Working knowledge of Sage 50 Payroll 
  • Knowledge of HMRC current legislation e.g. NI rates, statutory payments etc. 
  • Strong Microsoft particularly Excel skills
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Good communicator and personable
  • Flexibility with hours at peak periods of work is essential
