Main description
Premier Education Group offers fantastic opportunities for enthusiastic, talented people to build a career and deliver to schools and local communities.
Successful candidates will deliver sport and physical activities to children and young people, both in school curriculum time following the PE National Curriculum and/or set programs of study and also deliver a range of OSHL, (Out Of School Hours Learning) extracurricular activities before school, at lunch times, after school and in school holiday periods 5 days a week including some evenings and weekends.
We have an intensive training structure to ensure that our staff are qualified to the highest possible standard. Our most talented and ambitious professionals can make their way through our bespoke career journey. Those with a mind for business can work their way to owning and running their own franchise or licence under the Premier Education Group umbrella.
Skills and requirements
Able to assist with the planning and delivery of physical activity sessions
Develop and inspire young people to live and lead active lifestyles
Able to assist in the production of accurate assessments and reports on children and young people’s progress
Knowledge of the school PE National Curriculum [Desirable]
Basic computer skills
Reliable with strong time management
Self-motivated and have a passion for teaching/coaching
Previous experience of physical activity delivery would be highly beneficial
Demonstrate and articulate that they have a clear passion and drive to inspire young people through sport and physical activity.
Meet outcomes and results with a positive outlook, and a clear focus on expectations for high quality standards.
Critically assess own performance in a mature and credible manner
Deal with a range of different situations.
Be reliable, tolerant and determined.
Be an emphatic communicator, able to see things from the other person's point of view.
Articulate themselves in a professional well-presented and professional manner at all times.
Responsible and accountable.
Motivate and instill confidence in others, have a presence and be able to get on with others and be a team-player.
No criminal convictions or cautions that would prevent you working with children
5 GCSE's grade A-C
Any relevant sport qualifications (Desirable)
Full-time hours: 30 per week
