What you’ll be doing…

  • High -quality administrative support service to the procurement team dealing with all aspects of procurement including works, services and supplies
  • Respond to internal and external stakeholder enquiries over the telephone, email, web enquiries and in person.
  • Maintain detailed records of procurement processes
  • Study for a technical qualification with the professional body – Level 3

You must have…

GCSEs including Maths and English (or equivalent), a basic knowledge of the apprenticeship and be able to demonstrate an interest and enthusiasm for working within Procurement Team. You must have good organisational skills, supported by strong IT skills, and a critical eye for detail alongside the ability to work to tight deadlines. Strong customer service skills with an ability to demonstrate tact and empathy.

This role will require you to complete a fully funded training qualification and as such, you should be committed to achieving this. This apprenticeship will allow you to build a solid foundation in Local Government/Private/Public Sector Procurement.
