Main description

This role will involve: -

Providing hospitality
To Manage/re-direct visitors
Accurate diary keeping of appointments and visitors
Manage phone calls
Manage emails 
Undertake accurate copy and word-processing of correspondence
Operate reprographic equipment, ensuring readily usable
Sign off deliveries and distribute 

Entry requirements

GCSE English and Maths to Level 4: Essential

Skills required 

Good written and spoken English 
Work with guidance and limited supervision 
Calm under pressure
Positive attitude 
Ability to work in a team
Friendly personality
Excellent communication skills
Good organisational skills

Training to be Provided

Customer Service Level 2

Things to consider

The role is the initial point of contact for all visitors and professionals visiting the school. The role will involve contact with staff, parents, pupils ages 3-11 and visitors to the school.

Future Prospects

Previous Front of House / Receptionists have progressed to other roles within the school including Office Manager, Attendance Officer, and Finance Assistant.
