2nd November 2017

Have you got what it takes to be a leader?

RYLA is a Rotary program to encourage the development of young people (age 18 – 26) as future community and business leaders .....It succeeds by helping them to find out who they are in a challenging environment both physically, mentally and socially ~ But most of all making it all fun.

The Rotary Club of Diss Waveney are looking for candidates in the area aged 18+ to apply via their club. See details at the bottom of the post.

Rotary recognise and encourage young adults to develop their skills so they can achieve their potential in work and the world in which they live.

The Rotary Youth Leadership Award (RYLA) is designed to improve participants’ confidence and understanding of themselves. The course programme includes –

> fundamentals of positive leadership
> importance of communication skills
> problem-solving and conflict management
> building self-confidence and self-esteem
> the value of teamwork in business and the community
> what Rotary is and what it does for the local community

The selection process is usually conducted by your local Rotary Club and involves submitting an application form and the proposed candidate being interviewed prior to acceptance. Use the buttons on this post for more information or visit: http://district1080.ryla.co.uk
