At our site in Sudbury our main focus is withing the pet food development area where we now have a fantastic opportunity to recruit an apprentice Safety, Health and Environment Technician
We are looking for people with a passion for Health and Safety to join our team and learn the role on the job as well as being developed through recognised apprenticeships.
Our SHE team takes great pride in their work and are passionate about using their skills to ensure everyone on our sites work safely and return home to their families without injury.
You will also be expected to support the businesses reputation in the local community by ensuring our environmental standards meet local, national and Nestlé standards at all times.

About the programme
The programme blends remote university studies with real on-the-job work experience. You will learn all aspects of Health and Safety in the factory then apply your learnings to enhance our safety systems. Ultimately, you’ll have the satisfaction of being part of a great team playing a key role in ensuring our people meet the highest safety and environmental standards.

You should have or be predicted to achieve GCSEs at grades 9 to 4 (A*-C) in Maths and English. Previous experience in a Health and Safety role would be considered but it is not essential.
