This is a part time seasonal role - From 2/3/26 – 28/6/26 

Main description

Working with our retail area supporting our sales and till assistants ; we are looking for motivated individuals who can follow instructions and communicate with customers.

You will support our mission to offer a memorable garden centre experience; delivering wow customer service and giving employees, customers, suppliers and community a reason to smile.

Key duties

• Moving trolleys, throughout the day you will be collecting empty trolleys from the car park and returning them to the shop areas
• Assisting customers by carrying purchases to their vehicles , particularly with heavy or bulky items, helping load into cars and answering basic queries
• Moving stock from/to the warehouse and moving promotional materials and displays around the centre
• Maintaining the cleanliness of the garden centre and stock areas , carrying out cleaning duties and minor maintenance works 

Personal skills

• Good verbal communication skills, and customer service skills, confident in dealing with members of the public
• Able to follow instructions from your supervisors, and work on your own initiative
• You are able to lift , carry or move products and purchases ( e.g., large compost bags , stone garden pots, garden furniture etc.)

Working with

• Reporting into the Shop Floor Manager
• Working closely with rest of retail team and other departments
