Kier Strategic Highways – Eastern Region (Area6&8) are looking to recruit a Safety, Health & Environment (SHE) Apprentice ce. The role will be to assist the Health and Safety Manager and Health and Safety Advisors in all aspects that will affect the project or business.
On this apprenticeship we would expect you to developed skills in:

Working independently using your own initiative
Understand safe working practices within the work environment
Carry out a full range of business support activities
Key Responsibilities:

To assist as necessary the Health and Safety Advisors and Health and Safety Manager
Prepare documents, presentations and take minutes for health and safety minutes
Help with posters, leaflets etc. for Health, Safety and Welfare promotion campaigns
Compile monthly health and safety reports for the Health and Safety Manager as directed by him
Compile trending reports and graphs for the Health and Safety team upon request
Provide assistance and support to all personnel regarding their training and development needs
Log and maintain the site inspection tracker and distribute to relevant people, chasing for outstanding submissions
Log and maintain the supply chain and client induction tracker and distribute to relevant people
Assist with preparation and publish the monthly information for Health & Safety initiatives and campaigns
Assist with updating and maintaining the safety information displayed around site
Ensure all H&S documentation is available on the contract SHEMS page
Any other duties as required
