Sizewell C aims to employ 1,500 apprentices (Plus: Hear an apprentice's story)

Sizewell C is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for people in the East of England – and if planning permission for the power station is granted, it could be your springboard into a rewarding future career. Sizewell C will be a virtual replica of Hinkley Point C which is now under construction in Somerset. It’ll supply low-carbon electricity to six million homes. Provide jobs for 900 people. And make a long-lasting positive difference to the economy in the region.

The project now aims to offer 1,500 apprenticeships across a variety rolls including digital engineering, welding, environment and accountancy.

The Young Sizewell C scheme launched last month for 16-21 year olds in Suffolk - and Norfolk - and is a great introduction to what the project could offer you in terms of employment and careers.
