We are looking for a Bus Engineering Vehicle Parts Technician to join us for our Apprentice intake in September 2018!
Get paid whilst gaining the experience and qualifications to become fully qualified in the Parts Engineering department with First UK Bus in Norwich.
We are looking for enthusiastic young people to join our engineering apprenticeship scheme. Whilst on our 3-year programme, we will give you the skills, knowledge and technical expertise in Parts Management providing support to a large fleet of buses on an ongoing basis. This is a Parts apprenticeship with the opportunity to receive technical progression in another field in the engineering department.
As a Bus Engineering Vehicle Parts Technician, you will earn £3.97 per hour year 1, £4.41 year 2, £6.17 year 3, fully qualified £8.82. You will be working 39 hours per week (working hours – Monday to Friday)
You will learn to interface with customers, suppliers and colleagues as required ensuring the smooth transfer of goods to include issuing, receipt and returns
We will teach you to keep a high standard of housekeeping within the Parts Department to minimise risks to Health and Safety

Three GCSE's at Grade C or above or equivalent in maths, English and a science.
