The successful candidate will be responsible for driving the park Road Train while delivering an informative script to enhance the guest experience at the Park.

You must have a full clean manual driver’s license, be 21 or over, as well as being friendly and willing to smile all day long!

Due to the seasonal nature of the business, the road train will need to run at maximum capacity during peak and the train driver will need to be available to work weekends, bank holidays and school holidays.
Main duties and key responsibilities
Responsible for driving the road train and giving a friendly, exciting, and informative guest experience delivering the pre prepared script.
- To always drive the road train with care and attention, paying particular attention to pedestrians and children
- Ensure health and safety requirements are complied with
- Provide a commentary in accordance with the script in a friendly and informative manner
- Assist in plans to theme and upgrade the road train experience and script, making it your own
- To carry out required H&S checks to ensure the train is clean, safe to use and in good working order
- Report any damage or concerns to your manager
- Maintain high level of cleaning standards inside and out of the road train
- Follow end of shift procedures for close down of the road train and ensure keys are not left in the ignition unless the train is in operation
- During off peak season support operational departments with necessary tasks
- Personal Qualities and Experience
- Customer Service - ability to consistently deliver high levels of customer service
- Teamwork - ability to work effectively as part of a team, again, meeting reasonable expectations and with reasonable adjustments made
- Organisation - ability to be always punctual for work and to plan, prepare and organise resources and time effectively
