We currently have an opportunity within our commercial services bid team for an ambitious professional as a Trainee Bid Writer, based from our head office in Norwich.
This is an excellent development position with the chance to develop your career in a hands-on environment, supporting the team with;
- Creating and contributing original material to tender documentation
- Liaising with internal and external subject matters for content research
- Interpreting relevant financial information to deliver accurate and competitive proposals
Whilst we are not requiring you to have formal bid writing experience, it would be an advantage for you to have previous experience or knowledge around tenders or commercial sales proposals.
You will need to be able to demonstrate some key skills and knowledge coming into the role, including an A Level standard (or equivalent) qualification in a related discipline, ideally Business of English
This will be combined with your ability to write accurately and fluently, with you being able to showcase a wide range of vocabulary and excellent attention to detail with grammar.
As a collaborative role, you will need to be confident engaging with a range of internal and external colleagues and building effective working relationships.
We will offer you daily support so you can develop within the role and business, as well as dedicated mentorship for professional development. We will supplement your hands-on growth with access to formal qualification through the Association of Proposal Management Professional (APMP)
