Shelbourne Reynolds have been designing and manufacturing agricultural machinery for global markets for 50 years and have achieved enormous success in our field due to a reputation for innovative, quality products with customer focused support.

We currently have an opportunity for a Trainee IT Support Engineer, working at our main factory in Stanton. The purpose of this role is to support the IT manager in the day-to-day activities on site and assisting in the introduction of innovative technologies and solutions.

Main description

Duties and responsibilities

  • Be on-hand to offer advice and technical know-how
  • Train colleagues in new systems
  • Assisting with on-going projects
  • General maintenance of the IT systems
  • Fault finding in IT equipment

Entry Requirements

  • Grades C or above in GCSE in Maths and English
  • Some type of higher education/training/certification in an IT related subject or evidence of self-initiated learning in a relevant computing/networking/IT subject
  • Own transport due to the location of our factory
  • Excellent communication skills, as you will be expected to liaise with colleagues in all departments. This may include colleagues with limited technical experience
  • A passion to learn and progress within the role
  • The ability to follow instruction

  • Monday - Friday 8.30-17.00
