The Greyhound has stood in the heart of the village of Botesdale since the 1400s when it was used as a coaching Inn and through the years has been a focus of community life.

Since 2004 the pub has been owned by Chris and Mori-Fi Burnard who have continued to evolve it to make the Greyhound an interesting and welcoming pub serving a range of local ales, over 20 premium gins, craft lager and authentic homemade pizza from the wood fired pizza oven.

We are recruiting for a part time Trainee Pizza Chef to join our team

Main description

There is an opportunity to join a dynamic, thriving business and learn all aspects of the catering function with particular attention to the cooking of the bespoke pizzas which the Greyhound is particularly proud of and which the customers particularly enjoy!

We cook a range of delicious wood-fired pizzas to enjoy onsite in the pub restaurant and also offer a takeaway service

The focus of our food is our sensational house pizzas with a build your own option from a wide range of meats, fish and vegetable toppings to create your own unique pizza.

The pizza oven has been built by Chris who makes fresh dough daily to Mori-Fi’s recipe which when fired with wood gives a thin crispy base as tasty as the Italian original, full training will be provided.

We would need you for the following hours between 1pm and 5pm, for a 6 hour shift
