Lea Property Solutions are a small family run business that was set up in 2005 by Managing Director, Lucy Lea, which specialises in the running of HMOs (Rooms to Rent) in Ipswich, predominantly around the town centre.
We understand we are the only HMO specialist agents in Ipswich and endeavour to provide solutions for whatever your property needs are, not just meeting your expectations but exceeding them. We believe that excellent communication with all our landlords and tenants is the key to a happy and successful business and working life. We tailor all our management agreements to specific landlord requirements and carry out annual meetings with our landlords to discuss any issues to ensure the property is performing to its maximum capability.
We are a small friendly team of five and are offering the right candidate the opportunity to work with us to learn more about the Letting and Property sector to begin a working career.
This role is a traineeship and is for a 12 week period, Monday – Friday 9am – 4pm, and will involve administration duties, such as answering the telephone, dealing with prospective tenants and suppliers, updating information and basic administrative duties.
After the 12 week period is complete we are hoping the candidate will then stay on to complete an apprenticeship with us on a full time basis.
We envisage that this role will commence from the beginning of June and interviews for this will take place week commencing the first or second week of May
Details of the role
The successful candidate will need to answer calls and texts on our on mobile phone during office hours. The person would be replying to tenants’ queries, arranging appointments, sorting out maintenance issues, setting up viewings, liaising with cleaners and replying to prospective tenants about information on properties they are wishing to view.
We would offer on the job training whilst in the office with the other agents.
The ideal candidate will be confident on a computer, and help with other admin duties such as scanning in documents, replying to email queries, ordering equipment printing out paperwork for new tenants etc.
After successful completion of the Traineeship course, you will receive a certificate of completion and a letter of reference as a minimum, to support future job applications.
We are hoping the candidate will then go on to complete an Advanced apprenticeship with us and then into longer term employment.
