DanceEast is a passionate advocate for dance and strives to support students in their professional development.

DanceEast offers work experience to Year 10 students and work placements for young people aged 16 – 25.

All requests are carefully considered but acceptance is not guaranteed, because placements are scheduled to support our current schemes of work and limited in number.

DanceEast is committed to equal opportunities and actively welcomes applications from those who are currently under-represented within arts organisations. We are happy to consider adjustments to accommodate those with disabilities or additional needs.

Each work experience placement will include an insight into several departments with the organisation including Front of House, Technical, Marketing, Development and Creative Teams. Successful applicants will be set creative tasks and will have the opportunity to speak to staff about careers in dance and the arts. This is an office-based role and is recommended to those who are interested in finding out about what it means to “make dance happen”.

Please note that students should apply for work experience directly, rather than parents or schools applying on their behalf.

Please fill in the application form to apply for work experience at DanceEast in 2019. Please note that applications cannot be considered after the closing date: 31 January 2019.

Please send the completed application form to: work.experience@danceeast.co.uk with “Work experience application” in the subject line:
