Oliva Air Ltd are a local family run business who specialises in the service, repair and maintenance of air and ground source heat pumps, including air conditioning and we are looking for an Apprentice/Trainee Heat Pump Engineer.
We are based on Ransomes Euro Park in Ipswich and cover East Anglia.
Main description
Duties include assisting a qualified and trained engineer in:
- Install, maintain, and repair heat pump & air conditioning systems in residential, commercial, and industrial settings.
- Conduct routine inspections of heat pump & air conditioning units to identify and resolve any issues or potential problems.
- Perform regular maintenance tasks such as cleaning filters, lubricating parts, and checking refrigerant levels.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot malfunctions in heat pump & air conditioning systems and make necessary repairs.
- Replace faulty or worn-out parts to ensure optimal performance of heat pump & air conditioning units.
- Collaborate with other team members to complete installation projects or complex repairs.
- Keep accurate records of all maintenance and repair activities performed.
The successful applicant will have the opportunity to complete further training/qualifications & higher education.
Entry Requirements:
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Willingness to learn
