Apprenticeships are changing!

The changes to apprenticeships open opportunities to existing staff and new apprentices at all levels and all ages to undertake relevant qualifications whilst earning a salary; in turn helping to raise skills and aspirations for Norfolk.
Apprenticeships will help build the workforce skills and capabilities needed now and in the future for Norfolk County Council. At NCC we view apprenticeships as highly valued, quality pathways to successful careers, talent pipelines and future skills needs.
The level of responsibility and complexity of work will increase as the individual’s knowledge and skill increases. The level of supervision will also reduce appropriately over the training period.
