Established fifty years ago from humble origins our business, like our plants, has grown steadily in the beautiful Suffolk countryside.
Having steadily grown, the nursery now covers over 100 acres making it one of the foremost perennial producers in Great Britain.
The plant range is constantly expanding and now stands at over 1600 varieties.
Main description
We are looking for someone to work with us on a temporary seasonal basis
What you will be doing
The role could involve various tasks from hand potting to machine potting, moving plants from trolleys to stand down in new locations in container area, picking order in a team to later in the season hand weeding and watering.
Working hours 8am to 4.30pm to 8am to 3.30pm
Break 10.30am for 15 minutes (paid)
Lunch 12.30pm – 30 minutes (unpaid)
Work would be a mix of working in a team or as your get to confidents with the work on you own could be an option.
Looking for 2 – 3 days per week Monday to Friday
Possible more hours in college holidays and over summer.
Car is essential for getting to work. Bus route isn’t accessible.
Entry requirements
GCSE or equivalent
Skills required
No experience required and we can provide training on the job.
