What will the apprentice be doing on site

This is an exciting opportunity for an individual looking to become a dedicated plumbing apprentice and to join a hardworking team based in Norwich. The apprentice will be working towards a Plumbing and Domestic Heating Level 3 qualification from an excellent external training provider.

The responsibilities of an Apprentice Plumber will include –

•Assembling pipes.
•Measuring and cutting pipes.
•Handling tools.
•Installation of plumbing and heating systems.
•Working with gas.
•Bathroom furniture or controls of cold water and hot water.
•Central heating.

Due to the varied and exciting nature of the company the apprentice will also be involved with a small amount of carpentry, installation work, tilling and electrical work.

This role is a varied with a lot of opportunities to learn to work in domestic and commercial properties.

What sort of candidate are you looking for
The perfect candidate will be determined to work hard and learn to develop new skills. You will also need to have a keen interest in plumbing.

Essential qualities
Valid Driver's Licence.

CSCS Pass paper. Apprenticeships New Anglia will purchase your CSCS Card on commencement of employment.

The successful candidate must be punctual.

The right candidate will be hardworking and be willing to develop skills that are required for the role.

Having great communication skills are essential for the Apprenticeship.

Desirable qualities
We are looking for candidates who are age 21 or over so they can drive a company van however this is not essential and younger candidate's will be considered.Qualifications Required
Apprentices will be required to have level 2 English and Math's (equivalent to GCSEs at grade C/4).

The working week will consist of -

40 hours a week
£4.81 per hour
1 hour lunch break
