We offer free and low-cost access to business intelligence, market research, 1-to-1 advice, workshops, networking and support for protecting your business ideas.

How about starting your own business?
It may seem a daunting idea at first, but there’s lots of free help on offer – why not start with this online Summer School, aimed at *16-25-year-olds, to see whether it’s something you could see yourself doing?
Delivered in conjunction with MENTA Business, each week from Thursday 28 July to Thursday 1 September (09.30-11.30) we’ll cover a different topic, and you’ll have the chance to ask questions throughout. There’ll also be the opportunity to hear from a successful young business owner about their experience of starting and running a business.

To get the most out of the Summer School, we recommend you attend all the workshops but if you can’t make all the sessions, don’t worry.
Use this summer to help decide your next steps and whether that might involve starting your own business – now or in the future.
Please note, you may still attend the Summer School if you will be 16 by 1 September 2022 but please ask a parent or guardian to register on your behalf if you are under 16 at the time of registration.
