2035 Assessments Limited provides Retrofit Coordination services nationally, they work with Local Authorities and Register Housing Provider’s, energy efficiency installers and private individuals supporting them with an ‘End to End’ service ensuring compliance with PAS 2035 certification.

This role is an excellent opportunity for a postgraduate (although not essential) who is based in East Anglia.
A Retrofit Coordinator, once qualified, is the individual who is responsible for overseeing the assessment of dwellings as well as the subsequent specification, monitoring, and evaluation of energy efficiency measures, in accordance with PAS 2035.
On each retrofit project the Retrofit Coordinator fulfils three roles:
Manage - To undertake the traditional role of a construction project manager in respect of planning, organisation and managing the delivery of projects on time and budget
Coordinate - To provide informed advice and support to contractors and consultants to engender understanding and teamwork thus achieving the energy performance that retrofit projects should seek
Quality Assure - To provide assurance to clients so that project risk is managed whilst maintaining quality. They also identify and provide solutions for possible risks to the retrofit process and undertake post-occupancy evaluation to determine overall success and ensure that lessons are learned for future projects
Entry requirements/Person Specification
Applicants should hold a qualification in a building-related subject such as building surveying, architecture/architectural technology, mechanical engineering or construction management or a National Vocational Qualification (NVQ) at Level 3 or above in a subject related to the management or supervision of construction and domestic construction projects. Retrofit Assessor qualifications will also be considered.
Ideally, applicants will also need to be familiar with domestic construction techniques, able to read and understand construction drawings and specifications and be familiar with the Building Regulations and with construction health and safety regulations and practice.
Applicants will be expected to qualify as a Retrofit Coordinator within the first 12-months of employment. They will be enrolled on a E-Learning, Level 5 Diploma in Retrofit Coordination and Risk Management Course. They will be allowed up to 150 working hours to carry out course work.
Monday to Friday, flexible between 8am – 6pm, 37.5 hours per week
Expected start date: January 2022, or before if required
Job Type: Full-time with 150 working hours of training during year one
Salary: Initially, £18,000 - £20,000, once qualified - £23,000 - £25,000
