We are currently recruiting for two apprentices one in Ipswich and the other for our Norwich branch

Main description

Our retail department continues to go from strength to strength and we are now in a position to recruit a highly motivated and dedicated apprentice to join the Retail Travel Sales team in our Travel Quest Branch in Ipswich. This is a rare and exciting opportunity for an apprentice to develop their skills further and make a real difference to our customer base.

As the successful candidate you will provide customers with a travel service, tailor-made to their requirements, generating sales of all travel products whilst taking responsibility for the administration and operational support associated with the products whilst working towards a nationally recognised qualification. 

Reporting to the Branch Manager your duties will include:

Liaising with customers in branch, and via telephone in regards to queries and bookings
Meeting branch and individual sales targets
Offering the customer a high level of customer care – adhering to service standards
Assisting with the design and delivery of marketing campaigns
Invoicing, ticketing and processing payments 
General office administration

Entry requirements

General standard of education e.g. 5 GCSE’s or equivalent grades A*-C including Maths and English


IT Skills - have knowledge of Microsoft Office and emails. 

Able to prioritise workload.

Proven written and oral communication skills.
Possess a highly service orientated approach.
Ability to work well as part of a team

To undertake on the job training and complete the apprentice programme.


Ability to use databases 
Customer service skills
