Main description
Folliard Hydraulics Ltd are currently looking for an apprentice Workshop Technician to join and learn within their team.
Main Duties:
- To assemble and test hydraulic components.
- To assemble and test power packs and test rigs.
- To test hydraulic components, pipe bending, pressure testing, wiring, welding and painting.
Entry requirements
GCSE Maths and English Graes 5-9 or A-C - Essential.

Training to be Provided
The learner will be studying the Engineering Fitter Level 3 Apprenticeship Standard qualification.
Day release to West Suffolk College.
Functional skills will be studied if equivalent qualifications are not held.
Things to consider
A wide mix of skills to be learnt, fitting and testing. Assemble site work on installing systems we have manufactured. Electrical wiring, machining lathe and milling.
Future Prospects
Opportunity to gain long-term employment within the team, plus machining and engineering experience, hydraulic and electrical control experience also.
