We are auctioneers and valuers, selling antique and modern items on behalf of a wide range of customers and carrying out written valuations for solicitors. Based in Newton Green, our small team holds regular busy auction days on Saturdays throughout the year.
Main description
We are auctioneers and valuers, selling antique and modern items on behalf of a wide range of customers and carrying out written valuations for solicitors. We are currently looking for an Auction Administrator apprentice to join our team.
Main Duties:
Reception and customer service duties
Maintaining diary
Maintaining customer and stock database
Photographing auction items and processing images for website
Receiving items from customers, unpacking, listing and stocking
Assisting on busy auction days including operating the live online bidding platform
Taking customer payments
Entry requirements
Five GCSE's A-C/4-9 to including English and Maths.

Training to be Provided
The learner will be studying the Business Administrator Level 3 Apprenticeship Standard qualification.
Day release to West Suffolk College.
Functional skills will be studied if equivalent qualifications are not held.
Things to consider
This is not purely an office based job, it will involve working outside and in a warehouse environment, with some heavy lifting. Note we also have an office dog.
Future Prospects
As this is a small team, there is an opportunity to learn all aspects of the auction business and to gain skills in different areas.
