Main description
Instrument Machining Services Ltd are currently looking for a CNC apprentice. The successful candidate will be working alongside our current CNC engineers in the factory and will report to the factory floor team leader.
Main Duties:
- Report to senior staff
- Assist in the day to day operation of the machines
- Assist in keeping the factory a clean work environment
- Assist with deburring parts to ensure they meet the high standards our customers have come to expect
- Uphold and adhere to all health and safety policy’s at all times
- Report any issues to factory floor team leader or senior members of staff
Entry requirements
A-C or 5-9 in Maths and English - Essential.

Training to be Provided
The learner will be studying the Machining Technician Level 3 Apprenticeship Standard qualification.
Functional skills will be studied if equivalent qualifications are not held.
Things to consider
Punctuality, good communication skills, the ability to work well within a team and the ability to work of off own initiative are all required attributes of the desired candidate.

Opportunity for a full time role as a CNC setter operator.
