We are a small family run online retail business. We stock specialist products for all Special Educational Needs. We dispatch on average 100 orders a day to schools, colleges, universities, prisons, hospitals and private individuals. We are based in Ipswich near the Ravenswood Estate on a small industrial estate, we have a warehouse, packing room on the ground floor and 2 offices on the first floor of the building. There is ample car-parking. There is a local bus service within walking distance.
Main description
We are a small family run online retail business. We stock specialist products for all Special Educational Needs. We dispatch on average 100 orders a day to schools, colleges, universities, prisons, hospitals and private individuals. We are currently looking for Customer Service apprentice to join and learn within our team.
We have a vacancy for someone to work within Customer Service, the role will require:
- Answering the telephone and assisting customers with queries, placing orders and advice regarding products.
- Answering emails from customers regarding queries about orders placed, product advice and general enquiries.
- Order processing from emailed Purchase Orders
- Website maintenance to make sure the correct information is available and up to date for our customers.
- Digital Marketing.
- Stock adjustment to maintain the correct stock levels.
- Picking and Packing as required.
- Answering Social Media enquiries and keeping relevant social media posts updated.
Entry requirements
Maths and English GCSE grades 4 or above - Desirable.

Training to be Provided
The learner will be studying the Customer Service Practitioner Level 2 Apprenticeship Standard qualification.
Day release to West Suffolk College.
Functional skills will be studied if equivalent qualifications are not held.
Things to consider
Please be aware, there will be long periods of computer/screen work.
Future Prospects
The opportunity to secure a long-term position within the organisation upon completion of the apprenticeship.
