We are a 5-surgery dental practice in Ipswich, Located close to the Ipswich hospital.
Main description
We are currently looking for a Dental Nurse apprentice to join and learn within our team.
Main Duties:
- Preparing the surgery
- Showing patients to the surgery
- Assisting the dentist chair side with treatments
- Note writing
- Cleaning and Sterilizing instruments
- Helping on reception
Entry requirements
Maths and English GCSE at grades 4 or above/equivalent - Essential.
Skills required
Communication skills
IT skills
Team working
Training to be Provided
The learner will be studying the Dental Nurse (integrated) Level 3 Apprenticeship Standard qualification.
Day release to West Suffolk College.
Functional skills will be studied if equivalent qualifications are not held.
Things to consider
Need to have a DBS check and vaccinations.
Future Prospects
Full time dental nurse position with the opportunity to study for additional skills in the future.
