What is the Project Management Degree Apprenticeship?
Here at EDF we are providing you with a sound academic programme which will give apprentices with all abilities and backgrounds the opportunity to attain a BSc Honours in Project Management. We'll provide you with the knowledge and understanding of project management. We''ll also help you develop as a critical, reflective thinker and life-long learner with the ability to recognise the value in applying principles to practice.
You’ll be encouraged to see the links between theory and practice in the workplace, and develop knowledge, skills and behaviours progressively against the Project Manager Degree Apprenticeship Standard.

A dedicated Early Careers Programme Lead for your scheme, as well as the support of a Line Manager and Buddy
Training, development and support for you:
You will have a base location at one of our operating Nuclear sites. The 4 year scheme will support you to build your knowledge in project planning, cost management of projects as well as how to deliver projects safely and to a high quality. To support this it will include rotations into different teams and departments and will also include placements based at other locations.
This will help you gain an in-depth understanding of how projects are effectively delivered as well as obtaining an understanding of the wider organisation and how the project teams interact with others to ensure successful delivery.

Where you’ll work:
You’ll be based at Sizewell B. Your training provider will be the University of Cumbria and this will be a fully remote course where you will spend 1 day per week completing this from your base location. You will also have the opportunity to complete rotations at different EDF locations throughout your apprenticeship.
To join our team you’ll need:
Five GCSE’s in the A*to C or 9 to 4 range including English, Maths and a Science subject.
96 UCAS tariff points from Level 3 qualifications, A-Levels, BTEC Diplomas, related Level 3 Advanced Apprenticeship
Good communication skills with the ability to engage, influence, and inspire partners and stakeholders to drive collaboration and alignment.
This role might suit you if you’ve studied any of the following; Business, Accounting, Finance, Engineering, Maths and Science.
To be appointed to this role, you will need to meet the criteria for Security Vetting which will, ordinarily, require you to have been a resident of the UK for at least 3 of the last 5 years.
Our Assessment Centre will be held virtually on Wednesday the 10th of April.
