About Us

Our vision is to promote social inclusion for the community benefit by preventing people from becoming socially excluded, relieving the needs of those who are socially excluded and assisting them to integrate into society.

Access provide a range of services for young people including housing related support, helping with learning, development and employment and providing support with mental health and wellbeing.

Housing Related Support

All the services provide support for individuals aged 16 and over to enable customers to progress over a maximum period of 18 months to independent living. Every one of those customers will complete a fully documented and jointly agreed upon agreed support plan which is reviewed at least once every 6 weeks to progress towards independent living.

Enrichment for Young People

Here at Access as we support the personal and social development of young people by offering them alternative education, activities, community dining and just as importantly, a safe, grown up environment where they can meet with their friends and make new ones too.

Wellbeing for Young People

Access understands that wellbeing is important to us all. We want to feel good about ourselves, to get the most out of our lives and feel connected to other people. ‘Wellbeing’ means feeling more than just happy and confident, it also means to be able to cope when things are a bit tough, or when our health and physical health is suffering.

Skills Connect | The link to your future

Specifically designed for young adults aged 16-24, our Skills Connect service is provided in partnership with East Coast College and aims to help individuals from any background who may be struggling to find or apply for jobs, courses and training.

Our friendly Skills Connect advisors are here to help, whether it is assistance in CV writing, completing applications or giving support and guidance on boosting a person’s skillset, which will ultimately enable a young person to move into employment.

Operating from two career hubs based in Lowestoft and Saxmundham. We also operate a remote service digitally for young adults that struggle with mobility or live in rural locations.
