Kesgrave High School aims to be at the heart of a life-long learning community.
We aim therefore to stimulate an achievement culture:
- Where in raising standards we reach ever higher standards.
- Each individual strives towards fulfilment.
- Motivation and self-confidence increase as a result of success and praise.
We encourage a caring environment where individuals take responsibility for themselves and others.
We provide a broad, balanced and relevant curriculum as well as extra-curricular activities for self-development and discovery.
What makes us different is the people. We believe we have a very rare thing, a community. Everyone within the Sixth Form, and indeed the entire school, has respect, tolerance and a mutual understanding for one another.
Our aim is for students to leave Sixth Form thinking ‘I really enjoyed that experience’ – knowing that they have been consistently encouraged and supported by the teachers and staff. Exam results are important too, but students making the most of the opportunities available to them is our real success.
We offer a wide variety of A Level and BTEC subjects, and have exceptional specialist facilities for applied subjects such as ICT, Media, Photography, Music Technology, Dance and Textiles. All our students are able to study in the Sixth Form during study periods, in the two University style Learning Resource Areas.
