Paul Magnus started a shipping agency in Felixstowe in 1973. The business went on to become Magnus Group. After Paul’s death in 2018, his son Olly sold up his own business to buy shares in Magnus Group and bring the business back under family ownership.

Magnus Group offers a complete range of freight logistics and forwarding services. The business in Great Blakenham, Ipswich, is ideally placed to serve the Port of Felixstowe and enjoys direct road links to the Midlands, the North and London.

  As proud members of the Pall-Ex and Partnerlink networks, Magnus Group is part of the nation’s best and most efficient distribution hubs. We deliver and collect pallets across the UK and abroad.
• ROAD FREIGHT
  Every load is different, so the Magnus Group offers bespoke solutions for all. Whether our clients need haulage in the UK or to Europe, single pallets, full or part loads or a fast-track service, we’ll deliver for them, every time.
• WAREHOUSING
  Magnus Group has 355,000 square feet of modern warehouse space, with 20,000 racked spaces at its HQ outside Ipswich, with additional storage across the region including on Felixstowe Port. 
• GLOBAL FORWARDING
  Our clients get full supply chain management with Magnus Group global forwarding division. We negotiate the best rates and logistics, giving them complete visibility at all times. 
• AIR FREIGHT
  Magnus Group specialises in fast and cost-effective air freight solutions. When goods need to reach destinations fast, our air freight forwarding team to make it happen on time.
• MARINE INSURANCE
