PACE Works:  Building Strength at Your Own PACE

We specialise in helping young people who have struggled in a secondary school setting. Our Work and Study programme helps you to strengthen personal confidence and motivation - allowing you to discover your own personal employment pathway that can enable you to to earn your own living.

We are a leading social enterprise charity and an innovator in individual attitude development, community projects and social action: - The New Meaning Foundation.

We offer everyone who trains with us the opportunity to achieve their potential through our charitable aims and values.

Work and Study Programme

We know that many young people do not consider school or college-based learning environments as their first choice or preferred option, so we offer you an alternative, bespoke and flexible tutorial approach in the workplace, or local to you.  You can design a combination of supported workplace-based training, coaching and one-to-one mentoring to help you progress at your own pace, and to develop the work skills you need to gain employment and positive personal outcomes.

Our innovative programme allows you to build your readiness for employment through a flexible choice of local work placements, 1-2-1 weekly coaching and the freedom to work towards English, Maths and ICT qualifications.

Each young person will be interviewed prior to starting to ensure we help them design the right programme of study for them.  For example: full time or part time, depending on their circumstances and abilities.
