We require staff for a variety of roles throughout Suffolk & Norfolk. Our main season is May to November although the exact start and finish dates differ from year to year as this depends on growing conditions. You will start off working in the fields however after you have proved to be a valuable member of the team you will qualify for other roles within our organisation such as potato grading and grain processing operations. We have jobs at other times of the year as well.
You can read about life in the field in our blog.
Work with us
We need field staff, staff supervisors, tractor drivers for harvest and secondary cultivations as well as other roles.
To register your interest simply visit our website and fill out your details. We will contact you when we’re about to start.
How we work:
For field staff our season starts in May and finishes in October. We generally start on the fields around 7am and finish around 6pm with an hours worth of breaks during the day so that’s a 10 hour working day.
You can work on any days you wish (Monday – Fridays) and only need to confirm the night before. Sometimes we have work available at weekends or Bank holidays.
During the season all you have to do is ring us between 8pm & 10pm Mondays to Thursdays and 5pm to 7pm Sundays to find out if work is available for the following day. Once you start, provided you work hard and have a good attitude, you have first refusal on working the next day. It’s as simple as that!
What to bring:
- 3 or 4 litres of water
- Plenty of food
- A hot drink
- Sun block
- A hat
- Hayfever/Allergy pills
- Waterproof coat
- Waterproof leggings
- Wellington boots
- Work boots (with ankle support)
