About us

Training more than 7,500 students each year, the College of West Anglia is one of the largest providers of education and training in Norfolk and Cambridgeshire with an exceptional track record of developing the skills and talents of our students. This is achieved through a combination of great teaching by a team of highly-trained, industry experienced staff and excellent, modern facilities designed to prepare students for employment and further study.

Many students look forward to putting high school behind them and moving on with their lives. At college our students are treated like adults, gain independence, explore and broaden their interests, pursue their goals and meet lifelong friends.  The college comprises of 4 campuses - King's Lynn, Wisbech, Cambridge and the Sports Campus (also in King's Lynn).

         

Qualifications available at CWA

Under 19

We have three main routes for learners aged under 19vocational study programmes, A-levels and apprenticeships. We also offer higher education degrees as part of our University Centre West Anglia provision for those aged 18 and over.

19+

Learners aged 19 or older can study many of our vocational study programmes and apprenticeships. However, we also have Access to Higher Education courses that are specifically designed for people aged 19 or older to get the qualifications they need to access a degree. We also offer higher education degrees as part of our University Centre West Anglia provision for those aged 18 and over.

The College of West Anglia is one of the largest training providers in the region, and works with hundreds of employers across Norfolk, Suffolk, Lincolnshire and Cambridgeshire in supporting students (aged 16+) through apprenticeships in a wide variety of work areas.
