The Hoseasons we know and love today began with one small boatyard on the southern broads owned and run by Oulton Broad Harbourmaster Wally B Hoseason.
Hoseasons have been providing fantastic UK family holidays for over 75 years, and today we are the leading UK holiday company. Our choice of UK holidays is unrivalled; from boating on the broads to short breaks in luxury lodges, we now have over 23,000 places to stay from coast to countryside! From last minute romantic getaways for two, to luxury weekends away for large groups celebrating a special occasion, our customers return year after year thanks to our high-quality accommodation, exceptional customer service and a range of holidays to suit everyone.
We currently employ hundreds of people working in a variety of different teams including Sales, Customer Service, Marketing & Creative Design, Web & IT Development, HR, E-commerce & Web Design, Account Management (Product), Business Development, Maintenance, Process Efficiency and Communications! We're proud that 80% of our 300 strong team are recruited from the local area.

Supporting youth employment and apprenticeships
We’re passionate about supporting youth employment. All apprentices who complete our programme, and consistently perform to a high standard, are offered a permanent opportunity with us. We’ve developed our Digital Design Programme in collaboration with local colleges and, since 2015, we’ve taken on 25 apprentices across all disciplines in the company.
Sharing what we know through careers fairs, sponsoring local awards and talking in schools, means we can help a wide range of people find the career that’s right, improve interview skills and understand what employers are looking for.
Internships and Work Experience
Offering real-world work experience alongside a real wage means people can afford to train - this is what our paid intern programme is all about. We’re always excited to welcome young people on the first step of their careers, and can’t wait to extend the programme further.
Right across our business, we recognise the importance of work experience for young people in school and those starting out in their career. Getting a taste for the world of work raises aspirations and increases employment possibilities. That’s why we take part in projects and partner with organisations like Life Skills, New Anglia Youth Pledge and the local Chamber of Commerce.
