Lovell Partnerships Limited delivers residential construction development; from mixed-tenure property solutions and full residential refurbishment expertise to housing associations, local authorities and other public sector partners. From boardroom to building site, delivering exceptional service is embedded into the Lovell culture, so making sure we take on and keep hold of the best colleagues we can find is at the heart of what we do.
A career at Lovell means using your professional talents and hard work to develop communities in towns and cities across the United Kingdom. When we finish a job, we leave a lot more behind than houses – we leave a positive, sustainable legacy that will resonate for generations to come.
We know that our success as an organisation comes down to the strengths, skills and personalities of our people. That’s why the passion and dedication that our colleagues show Lovell is reflected in what the business offers them. We’re committed to providing the best development opportunities in the business – four times as much as the industry standard, overseen by regional training advisors and managed from a dedicated national training centre at our head office.
Our Apprentice Programmes are designed to build the practical abilities, academic development and interpersonal skills that will help you progress naturally. Starting with an introduction to the business and its values, you’ll learn about how successful people operate and how you can make best use of your skills and attributes. The programmes are broken down into three elements:
- Construction skills development, consisting of health and safety training;
- Craft skills development, the structured NVQ Level 2 qualification appropriate to your job role or discipline;
- Ambassador duties, where you’ll act as an ambassador and represent Lovell at careers events.
Good learning isn’t about memorising facts for the sake of it; that’s why our programmes are interactive and teach you the skills you need to get your career off to a flying start.

We need graduates of the highest calibre to become our future leaders. In exchange for your hard work and commitment, we will support you with a top quality graduate training programme to ensure you build a construction career with strong foundations.
Participants will be recruited as graduates into specific functions, such as quantity surveying or site management, and will complete a structured six week induction to the business before focusing on their role.
During the two years of the programme you will work mainly in the relevant department but also spend six week placements (site operations, commercial, technical and business development) to gain an insight into the wider business. In addition, you will attend graduate programme days at our head office in Tamworth and around the business.
Specific vacancies will be published on the vacancies pages. The closing date for applications to the graduate scheme is 31st March each year.
