Events Managers are responsible for the complete organisation and running of different types of events. They would need to work as part of a team and be able to complete a wide range of activities from planning stage right through to running activities on the actual day. There is no set entry route to become an events manager but it may be useful to do a relevant course like:
- Level 3 Diploma In Travel And Tourism
- Business (BTEC Level 3 Extended Diploma)
You'll usually need 4 or 5 GCSEs (including Maths and English) at grades 9 to 4 (A* to C), or equivalent, for a level 3 course
