Careers and Training
A university education isn’t for everyone – some people simply want to get out there and start earning straight away. Our Apprenticeship Programme lets you do just that. You’ll be supported throughout your training as you earn while you learn.

Our Apprenticeship Programme combines work experience with getting your professional qualifications; we want to ensure that we are equipping you for success, so we will provide you with training in relevant skills and behaviors, as well as the professional knowledge which is required to be successful in your role. For the first two years you’ll study towards the Certificate in Finance, Accounting and Business (CFAB) qualification or the Association of Tax Technician qualification (ATT).

On our three year programme, you’ll get paid study leave to work towards recognised industry qualifications. We’ll support you during your exams and we’ll cover your exam fees. Along the way, you’ll enjoy excellent support including coaching and mentoring. We’re here to support you the whole way.
Creating a strong platform from which to launch your career starts with your induction. This is when we’ll introduce you to our business and help you get your bearings. It’s also your chance to get to know your fellow trainees and begin building a strong network at BDO. It’s all about getting you up to speed and ready for your graduate programme.
There’s no denying it, the training part is hard work but we want you to succeed as much as you do. So from day one you can count on an extensive network of support, including mentors, partners and your individual Counselling Manager. They’ll help you to settle in, find the best ways to meet the challenges you face and to achieve your full potential. You’ll also be assigned a buddy (a more experienced colleague) and you can use the Professional Qualifications Team, to support you through your professional exams.
